Employing this strategy is an attempt to socially persuade the other players from acting against you, as the Scary Crazy guy would both take it personally and react unpredictably. In some cases, this strategy might be employed out of the blue after the user is attacked, as an attempt to dissuade at least some of the players in the group from providing similar stimulus as a means of avoiding the demonstrated response. This strategy consumes social currency, but might have some limited success over the long term. |
