The Crystal Ball |
| Definition |
Courtesy of the RSP Society: One of the more clever meta-strategies, Crystal Ball is a ploy to confuse an opponent and derail what might be an otherwise effective strategy. This is a simple and time-tested strategy that is more effective as a foundation on which to build than used in its virgin form. To employ Crystal Ball, tell your opponent what she is or is not going to do next. |

In this way, you eliminate your opponent's options, leaving him only with options you have chosen for him. |
| Commentary |
Exactly how to tell your opponent what they are going to do next is the crux of the biscuit, isn't it? An expert-level strategy, for sure, requiring a light hand and guts. |
