Event Summary |
Magi from across Ibera converge on this, the location of the Tribunal of 1221. A certain William of Bonisagus is intent on establishing a covenant upon the ruins of an expired, old winter covenant at Segobriga. For some reason, Gomo of Tremere, a rival of William, opposes the proposition and attempts to undermine the proposal. After much politicking, William secures the vote of the Tribunal to formally establish the covenant of Segobriga Secunda, which he will sponsor, but in which not actually assume residence. The PCs are invited to become founding members. The draft of the covenant charter spells out William's terms of patronage, and the PCs are given copies to read over and consider. |

Event Summary |
That same evening, the PCs receive a substantial counter-offer from Gomo of Tremere, who would have them do anything but join William's enterprise. In a late-night discussion, the PCs decide to act in unity, and then to join William, pending some changes to the charter. When these changes are negotiated, the Charter is signed. A magus Ex Misc demands certamen of one of the PCs for his place in the covenant, but is refused. Later, the certamen ensues (but for a different reason), and the contest ends in stalemate. |

Some sneakery with some soldiers from the local baron, who seemed to be expecting them (!), and the PCs seemed to be well poised to quickly take possession of the site of their new covenant sometime the next day... |
