OOC Business Log

Session 1 (10/25/99)

Experience: 1 EP was awarded for this session.

Session 4 (11/15/99)

Grogs: Merwin handed out grog character sheets. They are nearly fully drawn up, but have some room for customization.

Steve's Combat Rules: We went through the differences between standard ArM4 and Steve. He made changes, and has an updated version he will distribute. Also, Ken has variant combat rules, in which there was interest.

Parma: Time was spent clarifying things. Ken and Steve are the rules guys.

Experience: 1 EP was awarded to all magi PCs for this session.

Session 5 (11/22/99)

Travel Specialist: Chris volunteered to do research and arbitrate questions of travel and distance around the covenant.

Charter: The troupe agreed that the method by which allocation of resources would be accomplished is by lot.  This modification needs to be made to the charter.

Session 6
(12/6/99)
Merwin has left the game.

Steve passed around his language survey for error checking.

Chris brought up troupe-style play issues.  Here is the current informal breakdown.  Yuval stressed that things should be fluid rather than rigid, and there was agreement.

Chris – ASG
Jason – Logs and web site
Ken – Rules (No record-keeping!)
Steve – Rules (Specialties: Combat)
Scott – Covenant Resource Record-keeper and Treasurer

Chris made a plea for someone to roll up covenfolk and grogs.  There are 40 grogs and 21 covenfolk.  Ken’s proposal is that each player takes 8 covenfolk/grogs and roll them up.  Chris will send emails out telling people how many slots they need to fill, what positions/roles they have, and so forth.  Chris will roll up the remainder.  (NOTE: Companions are not counted in these numbers. They will wander in as time goes by.)  So far, from William’s initial grant, we have 7 grogs and 3 covenfolk.  The rest will come via William and perhaps other sources.

Yuval requested that Jason post the Merwin’s Excel calculator on the web site.

The group agreed that it will not take new players until the Saga is stable.

Chris is going to create a new site map, and distribute.

The retcon which occurred in the first part of this session relegates all of session 4 and 5 to a dream.  Chris did this to address grievances about the way the game was unfolding.
